Vintage Snap-On Tools Extreme Racing Smoke Signals T-Shirt 90s

Two cars, both real. The funny car belongs to Cruz Pedregon, who took Snap-On’s colors to his first NHRA Funny Car championship in 1992 and has carried them for more than thirty years since — one of the longest unbroken sponsor relationships in American motorsport. The dragster is the Snap-On Top Fuel car of the same era. Both are rendered here mid-launch, bursting through torn sheet metal, under “SMOKE SIGNALS” in blue chrome lettering.

The tag is the surprise. Choko Motorsports, out of Uxbridge, Ontario — founded in 1983 by Ed Hakonson, a champion snowmobile racer who also co-founded the Canadian Snowcross Racing Association and owned a NASCAR team. Choko started building high-end snowmobile suits, then moved into racing apparel, and now holds Canadian licenses for GM, Chrysler, and Ford. The shirt is bilingual and assembled in Canada from American parts.

An American tool company’s drag cars, drawn and stitched by a snowmobile-suit maker north of Toronto.
