Vintage Coca Cola Beanie Knit Ski Cap Pom 80s

A 1980s Coca-Cola knit ski cap in white with a red band and the classic “Enjoy Coca-Cola” script — the kind of branded winter gear that was everywhere at gas stations, grocery store promos, and company giveaways in the Reagan era.

Coca-Cola’s promotional merchandise program in the 1970s and 80s was massive. The company flooded the market with branded apparel and accessories — trucker hats, jackets, coolers, trays — and the knit beanie with pom was a staple of that wave. What makes these collectible now isn’t scarcity so much as condition. Knit caps get worn hard, stretched out, stained, and tossed. Finding one in excellent shape with the pom still intact and the knit still tight is uncommon.

The red and white colorway mirrors Coke’s own brand palette, and the tasseled pom on top gives it that classic ski lodge look that defined cold-weather headwear through the 80s. Vintage Coca-Cola memorabilia has one of the broadest collector bases in Americana — from dedicated Coke collectors to vintage clothing buyers to people who just like the aesthetic. A piece like this bridges all three.

Simple, branded, and unmistakably of its era.
