Vintage So many Lures So Little Time Fishing T-Shirt 90s
“So Many Lures… So Little Time” — the tackle box says it all: dozens of individually rendered lures in full color, the only splash of color against an otherwise black-and-white illustration of an old-timer tying one on, sunglasses and ball cap in place. Signed “© 1993 Peggy Murray.”
Murray’s fishing illustrations became something of a small franchise on 90s novelty tees — this same character and drawing style shows up across a handful of other titles from the era, including “Just Say No to Bait” and “Old Fishermen Never Die (They Just Smell That Way).” All the same wry, well-observed style: real gear, real posture, real dry humor about a hobby that eats tackle boxes for a living.
Printed on an Oneita Power-T, a workhorse tee brand for exactly this kind of detailed novelty print through the 90s.
The tackle box says everything the old-timer’s face already agrees with.
